Nexium (esomeprazole) is a prescription medication used to treat frequent heartburn and acid reflux. It is also sold under the brand names Colchiclius and Prilosec. Nexium 20 mg is the active ingredient in Nexium. You should take Nexium with food or milk at least 30 minutes before or after taking lactose.
Nexium is used to treat frequent heartburn (burn in theburn). It also works by helping to heal damage to your stomach and esophagus. Take it for at least 4 or 5 days before or after you eat a meal or drink alcohol.
